Reserve a lane with 4–10 players per lane (minimum of 4 required to reserve a lane)
Session Times:
Friday: 4:30 PM – 7:30 PM (final session starts at 7:30)
Saturday: 12:30 PM – 6:30 PM (final session starts at 6:30)
Sunday: 12:30 PM – 4:30 PM (final session starts at 4:30)

Have a smaller group? No problem!
1–3 people are welcome to walk in during open sessions. Your lane will be open to the public, meaning others may join your game.

Here's How It Works
How It Works
When you arrive, one of our friendly Field Marshals (referees) will greet your group, check you in, and walk you through everything you need to know.
You’ll head upstairs to the axe lanes, where your Field Marshal will teach you how to safely throw, run games, and keep the fun going.
Whether you’re trying something new or perfecting your aim, Modern Mission offers the best axe throwing experience in Northwest Arkansas.
What to Bring
We provide everything you need—axes, targets, and expert instruction!
Just make sure to:
Make a reservation in advance (walk-in space isn’t guaranteed)
Wear closed-toe shoes—open-toed shoes and sandals aren’t allowed
Bring your family and friends for some friendly competition!
Safety First
Your safety is our top priority.
Every player must sign a waiver before participating (online or upon arrival).
Our Field Marshals are trained to provide hands-on instruction and ensure safe gameplay.

Can I bring my own axe?
No, for safety and consistency, only Modern Mission-provided axes may be used in our facility.

Axe Throwing Rules & Etiquette
At Modern Mission, safety and sportsmanship come first! Follow these simple rules to ensure everyone has a safe, fair, and fun experience.
Axe Throwing Etiquette
Give space to throwers: Always allow at least 3 feet of clearance around the person throwing the axe.
Closed-toe shoes are mandatory — no exceptions.
Stay in your lane: Always remain within your designated throwing box when throwing.
Respect all skill levels: Axe throwing is for ages 13+ and welcomes beginners and experts alike—cheer each other on!
Order of play: The point leader throws first, followed by players in descending order.
Ask your Axe-pert: If you’re unsure about anything, consult your Axe-pert coach before throwing.
Be aware & have fun: Stay alert, stay safe, and enjoy the experience—fun and focus go hand in hand!
Match Rules
Throwing position: Stand 12–15 feet from the target, inside your throwing box.
Throwing style: Use one or two hands, with the axe starting over or behind your head.
Rotation: Each throw must make at least one full rotation to count.
Scoring: Points are based on where the majority of the axe blade lands on the target.
Turn order: After each throw, remove your axe before the next player steps up.
Winning: The winner is the first player to reach the target score for your selected game.
